About the work:

Living a Life... some thoughts from some days came to be thanks to a commission from James Roe, who wanted to offer a unique gift to his partner in honor of their tenth anniversary. On moving to the US, Gemzel had kept a blog/journal online documenting his thoughts and feelings. It was a pleasure to explore these diary entries and discover so many beautifullly poetic moments to collaborate with and transform into three songs. Gemzel's diary reaches past his own experiences to encounters with loss and questioning which we are all very familiar with.
